"I wanted to create a situation where I would cause the patient to have some respiratory distress or some problem, and through my intervention or suggested intervention of whatever, come out looking like I knew what I was doing. I had no confidence in myself. I felt very inadequate."

Richard Angelo, a.k.a. "The Angel of Death", is a convicted Angel of Death-type serial killer.

Born on August 29, 1962, Angelo's parents were both working in the educational system, his mother being an economics teacher, his father a high-school guidance counselor. 

Possessing Hero Syndrome, he became an Eagle Scout and later, after graduating high school in 1980, a volunteer fireman, hoping to gain praise from others for his heroism, praise he craved. 

Angelo eventually got a job at one Good Samaritan Hospital at Long Island, New York City, as an emergency medical technician. 

When he was unable to gain enough praise, Angelo devised a scheme to gain more attention.

He would poison the hospital's patients by injecting un-prescribed drugs that would bring them into critical condition, and then he would "rescue" his victims, thus proving his "expertise" to his coworkers and other patients and impressing them as a result. 

He started his plan in April 1987, poisoning John Fisher and then attempting to save him. However, his plan failed horribly, and Fisher died before he could be saved. Unfazed by the death, Angelo tried again and again and again, poisoning patients at the hospital and then saving them. Some patients were saved, others weren't.

After several months of continuing this cycle, Angelo was finally caught when he injected poison into Gerolamo Kucich while he was awake. After being poisoned, Kucich immediately pressed the call button for the nurses, who rushed into the scene just as Angelo escaped. 

Kucich's life was saved and he gave authorities a physical description; the police then linked the description to Angelo. 

His apartment and his locker were searched, and both searches recovered stashes of the drugs Angelo used to poison his victims. Angelo was arrested and charged with multiple counts of second-degree murder. 

During the trial, two psychologists testified that he had dissociative identity disorder, a type of mental disorder in which a person displays multiple personalities, all distinct. The disorder left him unaware of what he was doing, since he had been in a different personality when he poisoned his victims. 

However, two mental health experts countered that while Angelo suffered from a personality disorder, it was not dissociative identity disorder and therefore he knew what he was doing during the murders. 

In the end, Angelo was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder, one count of second-degree manslaughter, one count of criminally negligent homicide, and six counts of assault, sentencing him to 61 years to life in prison. 

He is still incarcerated for his crimes.

Method of Killing :

Angelo poisoned his victims by injecting a lethal combination of the paralytic drugs Pavulon and Anectine into their IV tubes. 

When they went into critical condition, Angelo would come to the scene and "rescue" them. 

According to Gerolamo Kucich, Angelo told him he was going to "make him feel better". Though it is most likely true in Kucich's case, it is unknown if Angelo said that statement, or something similar, to his other victims.

Ted Bundy

"So what's one less? What's one less person on the face of the planet?"

Bundy was born in Burlington, Vermont to Eleanor Louise Cowell.

For most of his life,

Bundy was raised to believe that his grandparents, Samuel and Eleanor, were his actual parents, and that Louise was his older sister. 

He didn't find out that "Louise" was his mother until his college years.

when ted and louise moved to Tacoma, Washington, Louise met a man

named Johnny Culpepper Bundy at a local church function. 

They were soon married, and Johnny adopted him, thus changing

his surname to "Bundy". 

Johnny treated Bundy well, including him in the camping trips and other outdoor activities he often took with his and Louise's own children.

During high school, Bundy was often isolated from other kids his age. He couldn't seem to understand teenage social behavior but was skilled in "faking it", indicating a propensity towards       

psychopathy.

He stated once that, "I didn't know what made things tick. I didn't know what made people want to be friends. I didn't know what made people attractive to one another. I didn't know what underlay social interactions."

Killings,Conviction and Execution :

Shortly after midnight on January 4, 1974, Bundy first attempted murder. 

He broke into the basement bedroom of a female student at the University of Washington, bludgeoned her in her sleep and sexually assaulted her. She survived, but suffered permanent brain damage. 

Over the following four months, he killed three students; another from the University of Washington on January 31, one from Evergreen State College on March 12 and one from Central Washington State College on April 17. 

After more abductions and murders, the authorities became aware that the same man, who a number of witnesses had said called himself "Ted", was responsible for the disappearances. Among the people who reported Bundy as a potential suspect were his ex-girlfriend, one of his psychology professors, and Ann Rule. 

Because of his reputation as a clean-shaven and well-mannered student, the police paid no attention to their tips. 

During this time, he also killed women in Oregon. Bundy then moved on to Salt Lake City, Utah where he attended the University of Utah College of Law and became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, though he never really attended any gatherings. 

During the first semester, he killed four more women, one of which was the daughter of a police chief. 

The next semester, 1975, he killed four more women, three of which were taken in Colorado. 

The fourth was 13-year old Lynette Culver, who was abducted from a school playground in Pocatello, Idaho, taken to a hotel room, and raped and drowned in a bathtub. As with a number of Bundy's victims, her body was never found. 

He killed another girl, 15-year old Susan Curtis, during his summer break. On August 16, he was pulled over when he wouldn't stop for a police officer. Inside his car, the officer found balaclavas, gloves, a crowbar, handcuffs, and other items he suspected to be burglary tools.

On March 1, 1976, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the kidnapping of Carol DaRonch, whom he had tried to abduct in Utah in 1974 by pretending to be a police officer.


In 1977, investigators had found enough evidence to charge Bundy with the January 1975 murder of Caryn Campbell, who had disappeared while on a ski trip, and managed to extradite him to Aspen. 

At the Pitkin County courthouse, Bundy was allowed to visit the courthouse library. From there, he escaped through a window but was pulled over in a stolen car for having dimmed headlights and arrested again. 

He was placed in a jail in Glenwood Springs, from which he escaped on December 30, 1977, by somehow getting his hands on a hacksaw and $500 and getting out through a crawlspace. By the time the jail staff realized that he was missing, he had already made his way to Chicago. 

After then spending some time at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and in Atlanta, he settled at Tallahassee, Florida on January 8, where he supported himself through shoplifting and purse snatching. 

On January 15, 1978, Bundy committed his first murders in almost two-and-a-half years. He broke into the Chi Omega sorority at the Florida State University, raped, strangled, and bludgeoned students Lisa Levy and Margaret Bowman. Two other students were also attacked but survived. The same night, he attacked another woman eight blocks away; she also survived. 

On February 9, 1978, Bundy committed his last known murder. 

He abducted 12-year-old Kimberly Leach outside her school, raped and killed her and tried to hide the body in an abandoned hog shed. 

On the morning of February 15, he was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle and was quickly linked to the sorority murders. 

In the end, Bundy received two death sentences; one for the sorority murders and one for the murder of Kimberly Leach. 

Two pieces of evidence proved crucial: 

• a set of bite marks on Lisa Levy's buttocks
• The testimony of a Chi Omega resident who hadn't been present at the killings and saw Bundy leave the building. 

Bundy spent the better part of the 1980s fighting his sentence. During this time, he was interviewed by FBI profiler Robert Ressler, who found him uncooperative, and married Carole Ann Boone, a former co-worker, and had a daughter, Tina, with her in October 1982. 

When Bundy talked about the murders, he always did so in third-person and speaking hypothetically. 

As the execution date came closer, Bundy confessed to more murders for which he hadn't previously been conclusively linked to.

In October 1984, Bundy contacted the Green River Task Force and offered personal insights on the case, which hadn't been solved at the time. 

At 7:06 a.m. on January 24, 1989, Bundy was executed by electric chair. 

His last words were "I'd like you to give my love to my family and friends." 

In May of 2012, John Henry Browne, who defended Bundy during his final trial, claimed in a memoir describing his conversations with Bundy that he claimed to have killed over 100 people and that his first victim had been a man.

On every book " The Murder of Roger Ackroyd " is mentioned as the " Masterpiece of Agatha Christie ".

Plot Summary :

• When the widow, Mrs. Ferrars, commits suicide, and the wealthy Roger Ackroyd is murdered within a few days, the small English village of King's Abbot is even more full of gossip than usual.

• The murder seems likes a complete mystery to the police.

• Fortunately, Hercule Poirot, The Famous Detective retired from his detective work and moved to the small English village of King's Abbot.

• Poirot investigates the murder of Roger Ackroyd with Dr. James Sheppard, the town doctor and good friend of Mr. Ackroyd, by his side.

• He has a sister Caroline Sheppard and she almost predicts everything accurately.(She's one of the best character in this novel ) 

• Everyone in Mr. Ackroyd's household is a suspect.

• As Poirot unravels the case, many secrets on love and money, comes out about each member of the household.

• Although every member of the household is a suspect at some point, the case looks the worst for Ralph Paton, Mr. Ackroyd's stepson.

Stephen Lawrence's Murder Case

The murder was Britain's most notorious unsolved case and led to radical changes in modern policing after a public inquiry found the Met Police was 'institutionally racist.'

" The two racist killers who murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence were detained nearly 19 years after they stabbed him to death at a bus stop. "

Gary Dobson, 36, and David Norris, 35, were part of a gang of white youths who targeted the 18 year-old A-level student and his friend Duwayne Brooks because of the colour of their skin.

Stephen was stabbed twice after being 'swallowed up' by the gang in Well Hall Road, Eltham, southeast London, just after 10.30pm on April 22, 1993.

The pair were convicted of murder after a two-month trial at the Old Bailey.

Dobson must serve at least 15 years and two months, while Norris, the son of notorious south London drug lord Clifford Norris, was handed a minimum term of 14 years and three months.

Mr Justice Treacy stressed that he was bound to sentence Dobson and Norris as juveniles under the law as it was in 1993.

'It may be that the resulting sentences are lower than some might expect,' he said, 'but the law as laid down by Parliament and must be applied and I am constrained by it.'


THE INVISIBLE SPECK OF BLOOD :

In 2008 a blood spot, measuring just 0.25mm by 0.5mm, was found on the collar of a jacket seized from Dobson, which provided a one in a billion DNA match to Stephen.

Further dried blood fragments were also found in the evidence bag the coat had been stored in.

The total amount of blood particles found no more than two cubic millimetres.

Eleven pink and orange cotton or polyester fibres, from Stephen's red polo shirt, were also found on Dobson's jacket, along with two green and blue strands from Stephen's corduroy trousers.

Six green and blue fibres were found on Norris' blue sweatshirt, along with an orange cotton fibre from the polo shirt.

Among debris collected from the packaging which held Norris's jeans scientists recovered a 2mm and 1mm fragment of afro-Caribbean hair.

Prosecutor Mark Ellison QC said: 'The material discovered on each of the defendants' clothing indicates that they must have been members of the group that attacked Stephen Lawrence that night and they are guilty of his murder.'

He said the 'only discernable reason for the attack was the colour of their skin.'

The pair were arrested and charged in September last year and faced trial after Dobson's previous acquittal was successfully overturned at the Court of Appeal.

CHEERS :

Stephen's estranged parents Doreen and Neville emerged from the court to spontaneous applause and cheering.

Mrs Lawrence said: 'All I now feel is relief.

'Relief that two of my son's killers have finally been brought to justice; relief that these racist men can no longer think they can murder a black man and get away with it.'

She added: 'I feel relief to some extent that I can move forward with my life.'

Mrs Lawrence said she hoped the police had 'learned their lesson and don't put any other family through what we have been put through.'

She concluded by saying: 'Racism and racist attacks are still happening in this country and we should not use my son's name to say that they are not.

'I want people to think of Stephen Lawrence other than a black teenager murdered in a racist attack in southeast London.
'I know this is fact but I also want him to be remembered as a bright, beautiful young man.'

Mumbai Terror Attack

Mumbai experienced a worst terrorist attack at Seven major locations in the city on the night of Wednesday November 26, 2008 when a series of synchronized terror strikes hit the finance capital of India killing 125 and injuring 327.

At Taj Hotel :

As many as five explosions are heard within five minutes of the Army taking charge of the site. A three layer joint operation involving the Maharashtra Police, Indian Army and the National Security Guard are involved in the operations at the hotel site.

All the Taj hotel hostages were rescued by the Firefighters.

The clashes between the security forces and the terrorists were fierce.

About 15 people are believed to be still trapped inside Taj Hotel. 7 militants reportedly killed in Taj operation.

India's National Security Guards (NSG) conducted Operation Black Tornado to flush out the remaining attackers.

 It resulted in the deaths of the last remaining attackers at the Taj hotel and ending all fighting in the attacks.

Each and every room in Taj, Oberoi were completely checked under NSG control.

At Nariman House :

Two blasts are heard on the early hours of Friday, November 28, 2008.

Local people say the terrorists rented house near Nariman House months before.

NSG commandos took on the Nariman house, and a Naval helicopter took an aerial survey. 

The house was stormed by NSG commandos fast-roping from helicopters onto the roof, covered by snipers positioned in nearby buildings. 

After a long battle, one NSG commando Havaldar Gajender Singh Bisht and both perpetrators were killed.

Arrests : 

Ajmal Kasab was the only attacker arrested alive by police. 

Much of the information about the attackers' preparation, travel, and movements comes from his confessions to the Mumbai police.

Kasab's Trail :

Kasab was convicted of all 86 charges on 3 May 2010. 

He was found guilty of murder for directly killing seven people, conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of the 164 people killed in the three-day terror siege, waging war against India, causing terror, and of conspiracy to murder two high-ranking police officers. 

On 6 May 2010, he was sentenced to death by hanging.

However, he appealed his sentence at high court. 

On 21 February 2011, the Bombay High Court upheld the death sentence of Kasab, dismissing his appeal.

Kasab filed a mercy petition with the President of India, which was rejected on 5 November 2012. 

Kasab was hanged in Pune's Yerwada jail in secret on 21 November 2012 at 7:30 am. 

The Indian mission in Islamabad informed the Pakistan government about Kasab's hanging through letter. 

Pakistan refused to take the letter, which was then faxed to them. 

His family in Pakistan was sent news of his hanging via a courier.

A few Crime Stories of 2012

Josh Powell :

In February 2012, Josh Powell, the prime suspect in the disappearance of his wife, Susan Cox Powell, murdered his two children and took his own life in Washington state, according to police. Susan Powell was reported missing by her family on Dec. 7, 2009, when she failed to show up for her job as a stockbroker at Wells Fargo Financial. Josh Powell told police he had been camping with their two young children and had last seen his wife around midnight. Suspicious of his story, investigators named Powell a "person of interest" in his wife's disappearance. 

Not long after, Powell and his two children moved back to his hometown of Puyallup, Wash. While the change in scenery may have been welcomed, Josh Powell was unable to avoid the media and unfettered speculation by the public that he was responsible for his wife's disappearance. It was perhaps these inescapable problems that drove Powell. on Feb 5, 2012 to attack his two boys, Charlie, 7, and Braden, 5, with a hatchet and then ignite his home, killing the three of them in a gas-fueled explosion. 

Since that time, a mountain of evidence has emerged, which supports law enforcement's decision to name Josh Powell the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance. 

Authorities are also being more vocal in their suspicion that he may have had an accomplice. If Susan Powell's husband is ultimately found responsible for her disappearance, it is too little too late for him to be brought to justice, but any accomplices he may have had could still see their day in court.

Joran van der Sloot :


As the old saying goes, "What goes around comes around." Some refer to it as karma. Joran van der Sloot likely calls it bad luck. Whatever the case may be, justice was served, in part, against the Dutchman on Jan. 13, 2012. 

On that day, a haggard and beaten-looking van der Sloot was sentenced to 28 years in prison for the 2010 slaying of Peruvian business student Stephany Flores. The then 23-year-old, who is equally infamous for his longtime association with the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway, hung his head low as the Peruvian court clerk went over the case. Credited with time served, van der Sloot's release date was set as June 10, 2038. 

Following his release, he will be expelled from the country, the court ordered. Van der Sloot avoided trial by pleading guilty to killing Flores.

"I am truly regretful for what I have done. I feel very bad," he said. That confession apparently had little impact on the three-judge panel, who sentenced him to only two years less than the 30-year max they could have imposed. 

Van der Sloot was charged with first-degree murder and robbery in the May 30, 2010, slaying of Flores -- exactly five years after Holloway vanished. Flores was found dead in van der Sloot's hotel room in Lima on June 2, 2010. Holloway's body has never been found, and van der Sloot has never been charged in her disappearance. 

Van der Sloot will be eligible for parole after serving one-third of his sentence and could be paroled in nine years.

The first five Amerithrax letters were sent on September 18, 2001, one week to the day after the 9/11 terrorist attack.

• In August 2008, Department of Justice and FBI officials announced a breakthrough in the case and released documents and information showing that charges were about to be brought against Dr. Bruce Ivins, who took his own life before those charges could be filed.

• During the course of the investigation more than 6,000 items of potential evidence were recovered.

Profile :

The FBI's psychological profile of the Amerithrax perpetrator says that 

• He is most likely an organized, non-confrontational adult male.

• If employed, he has a job that allows him to work with little contact with other people, possibly in a laboratory.

• He likely keeps to himself and any relationships he has are likely self-serving.

• He is comfortable working with extremely hazardous substances and probably has a scientific background, or at least a very strong interest in science.

•  He has access to anthrax and the equipment required to handle it and has the scientific expertise required to do so.

• He even might have taken Anthrax vaccines and medications for precautions.

• After some key dates such as the first fatality or unplanned casualties, he may have displayed anxiety, suffered noticable mood swings.

• He would have become more withdrawn, absent and preoccupied, and may also have shown an atypical media interest.

Hi Friends...I am going to tell you about an Anime i recently watched.

Death Note ( Japanese Anime ) . 

It is the best anime according to me in the crime genre.

Death Note is an anime based on crime and mystery.

If You like the review or not........try to watch it, It is worth watching.

• It centers on the character Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook,  "Death Note". This notebook grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose "name and face " they know by writing their name in the book.

• The Death note belongs to a Shinigami ( Death God ), who drops the book from his world to our world.

• If a human picks the Note book before the Shinigami recovers it, the Shinigami must stay with the human until he dies or gives up the Note book.

• When Yagami Light finds out about the book, he wants to create a peaceful world by killing all the criminals.

• Due to the unexpected deaths all around the country, the famous detective known to the world as "L" takes interest in the case, which the police were unable to understand.

• The Detective  "L" challenges  kira ( Known as killer ) "Light Yagami" that he will catch him.

Neither of them know who the other is............. 

Yagami Light thinks it is impossible to catch him, as he is using the Death note to commit murders..................but then an unexpected event occurs.  

Death Note consists Total of 37 episodes filled with mystery and a lot of  twists and turns.

The First Victim was found on September 23, 1935.
It was estimated that he had been killed three to four weeks earlier.

The age and sex of all the Butcher's victims differed, but they were typically drifters and people from the lower class of society.

He would usually kill them by decapitating them.

A profile made by the original investigators said that the offender was a psychopath, though probably not obviously insane.

                                  "The Boston Strangler" 

1. The Boston Strangler was a serial killer and rapist who started his killings in Boston, Massachusetts, in the 1960s.
2.  The first murder commited by the Boston Strangler was on June 14, 1962.
3. The victim was Anna E. Slesers, a 55-year-old seamstress.
4. Initially the death was assumed as an sucide but between the day and august 30,there were 5 more women dead.

• During the investigation, two psychics got involved with the task force in charge of the case, the "Strangler Bureau". The first, Paul Gordon, was an ad copywriter said to have ESP powers. He made a description of the killer of Anna E. Slesers which fit Arnold Wallace, a mental patient held at Boston State Hospital who had escaped on several occasions, most of which coincided with the Strangler murders.

•  When he was consulted about the seventh Strangler murder, that of Sophie Clark, he, surprisingly, displayed detailed knowledge of her apartment and made a description that fit Lewis Barnett, who was an initial suspect in the murder. Nothing concrete came out of Gordon's advice. 

• The second psychic, Peter Hurkos, was a well-known psychic all of his life. He claimed to have assisted in the investigation and is confirmed to have been in Boston at the time of the investigation and to have spent time with the police, but a few days later, he was arrested for impersonating a police officer in order to gather information and later convicted of it.

• James A. Brussel, who previously had made a spot-on profile of the Mad Bomber in New York, aided the authorities. Unlike many contemporary and later psychologists and psychoanalysts involved in the case, he asserted that the murders were the work of a single man, attributing the changes in his behavior to changes in his regular life. 

• In November of 1964, a convicted burglar named Albert DeSalvo , was caught for an unrelated series of attacks and confessed to the Strangler murders.

• DeSalvo was sentenced to life in prison in 1967. 

• In February of that year, he escaped with two fellow inmates from Bridgewater State Hospital, triggering a full scale manhunt. 

• A note was found on his bunk addressed to the superintendent. In it DeSalvo stated that he had escaped to focus attention on the conditions in the hospital and his own situation.

•  The next day he gave himself up. Following the escape he was transferred to the maximum security Walpole State Prison.

  

"six years later, he was found stabbed to death in the infirmary. His killer or killers were never identified."
