I am going to tell you about the Worst Terror Attack on India.

Mumbai Terror Attack
Mumbai experienced a worst terrorist attack at Seven major locations in the city on the night of Wednesday November 26, 2008 when a series of synchronized terror strikes hit the finance capital of India killing 125 and injuring 327.

At Taj Hotel :
As many as five explosions are heard within five minutes of the Army taking charge of the site. A three layer joint operation involving the Maharashtra Police, Indian Army and the National Security Guard are involved in the operations at the hotel site.
All the Taj hotel hostages were rescued by the Firefighters.
The clashes between the security forces and the terrorists were fierce.
About 15 people are believed to be still trapped inside Taj Hotel. 7 militants reportedly killed in Taj operation.
India's National Security Guards (NSG) conducted Operation Black Tornado to flush out the remaining attackers.
It resulted in the deaths of the last remaining attackers at the Taj hotel and ending all fighting in the attacks.
Each and every room in Taj, Oberoi were completely checked under NSG control.

At Nariman House :
Two blasts are heard on the early hours of Friday, November 28, 2008.
Local people say the terrorists rented house near Nariman House months before.
NSG commandos took on the Nariman house, and a Naval helicopter took an aerial survey.
The house was stormed by NSG commandos fast-roping from helicopters onto the roof, covered by snipers positioned in nearby buildings.
After a long battle, one NSG commando Havaldar Gajender Singh Bisht and both perpetrators were killed.

All the incidents except the explosion at Vile Parle took place in downtown South Mumbai.

- Taj Mahal Palace and Tower near the Gateway of India.
- Leopold Cafe
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station.
- Badruddin Tayabji Lane behind the Times of India building.
- Near St.Xavier's College.
- Cama and Albless Hospital.
- Nariman House (Chabad House) Jewish Outreach center.
- Metro Cinema.
- Mazagaon docks in Mumbai's port area.
- Vile Parle near the airport.

Arrests :
Ajmal Kasab was the only attacker arrested alive by police.
Much of the information about the attackers' preparation, travel, and movements comes from his confessions to the Mumbai police.

Kasab's Trail :
Kasab was convicted of all 86 charges on 3 May 2010.
He was found guilty of murder for directly killing seven people, conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of the 164 people killed in the three-day terror siege, waging war against India, causing terror, and of conspiracy to murder two high-ranking police officers.
On 6 May 2010, he was sentenced to death by hanging.
However, he appealed his sentence at high court.
On 21 February 2011, the Bombay High Court upheld the death sentence of Kasab, dismissing his appeal.
Kasab filed a mercy petition with the President of India, which was rejected on 5 November 2012.
Kasab was hanged in Pune's Yerwada jail in secret on 21 November 2012 at 7:30 am.
The Indian mission in Islamabad informed the Pakistan government about Kasab's hanging through letter.
Pakistan refused to take the letter, which was then faxed to them.
His family in Pakistan was sent news of his hanging via a courier.
